We’re spoilt for choice when it comes to sushi spots in the heart of Cape Town – but finding one that’s on par with Willoughby & Co in terms of quality is no easy task.
So I’m happy to finally be able to say mission accomplished, with Sushi Box opening their doors on Kloof Street a few weeks ago. Based on the success of the first one in Newlands, they opened up shop in Woodstock and then Constantia, and have finally come to town.
Not only is the sushi incredibly fresh, but it’s also well priced and beautifully presented. You can tuck in to eight tuna california rolls for just R56; try some of their signature dishes; or get the Fusion Box for R96, which includes four Loaded Rainbow Rolls, five Crispy Salmon Rolls and two Salmon Roses!
Apart from the sushi, you can look forward to a warm welcome from their staff, a cosy ambience and super stylish décor; with wooden tables, white lanterns hanging from the ceiling and gold fish stenciled on the white walls. It’s the perfect spot for a quick lunch or evening catching up with friends after work.
Whenever your sushi craving hits, you can’t get fresher and more delicious than Sushi Box.
