The Butcherman in Green Point – a meat lover’s dream.

There’s one thing all South Africans can agree is the ultimate and most satisfying ritual in our culture: the braai. Whether you’re a vegan putting a corn cob on to roast or a carnivore at heart, there’s no denying that the braai will forever remain a crucial part of your life, no matter where you may find yourself in the world. However, this article is for those carnivores and die-hard braai addicts of Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

Many of us would identify the search for a perfect meat supplier as a tedious process. Although mainstream retailers offer great meat, many of us find you have to travel great distances, to the Northern Suburbs for example, to find the quality you’re looking for. Well, dear meat lovers, we’ve found it! The ultimate restaurant to not only feed your hunger for a delicious lunch or dinner, but they also able to sate your appetite for the perfect braai ingredients – a large selection of fine cuts of meats at an affordable price for you to take home.

Their restaurant offers all of the meat you could possibly desire, including beef, chicken, lamb, boerie rolls and ribs, but what makes them unique is their in-house butchery! Put these two together and you have a one-stop destination for all of your meaty needs, not to mention a great ambience for a delicious bite any time of the day!

Since The Butcherman is relatively new to the Green Point Main Road, they’re not licenced to sell alcohol on their premises yet. However, you can bring your own bottle of wine at no extra cost, making your delicious meal even more affordable. Of course, if it’s a soft drink that tickles your fancy, they do have quite a large range of beverages for you to choose from!

The Butcherman is ideally located on 105 Main Road in Green Point, between Giovanni’s and Hussar Grill, and they invite all meat lovers to come and experience a meat offering like no other from 9am to 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays.

Trust us when we say you have to see, or rather taste, this to believe it!
