We are proud to say that March has been a feather in the cap of our city’s safety record. This past month our team has had very few incidents reported to them, proving that:
- We are able to see our impact on safety in the city.
- Circumstances can change if the right steps are taken.
The most prevalent incidents are drinking and driving and theft out of motor vehicles with two incidents of each occurring in the last month.
Remember that your life is worth much more than just having a good time. If you know that you will be consuming alcohol, please make the responsible choice by either:
- Calling a taxi service
- Having a designated sober driver
- Organising a gathering at home
This way you save not only your own life, but also the lives of many others which share the road with you.
If you care about your community and would like to be part of our continued efforts to improve the area, why not become a board member? You can make a real impact and always be abreast of what’s happening nearby. All we need from you is attendance at four board meetings a year. Find out more information here.
