The City of Cape Town is continuing its zone pressure testing across the metro. This could lead to intermittent supply disruptions. It forms part of our drought intervention efforts.
The City continues to roll out zone pressure testing across the metro in its effort to provide a reliable water supply service to the residents of Cape Town and to reduce water usage during the drought.

Sunningdale Zone: Sunningdale, Bloubergstrand, Table View, Parklands, Big Bay and Flamingo Vlei Area. It is bounded by Big Bay Boulevard to the north, Killarney Gardens and Dunoon to the east, Otto Du Plessis Drive to the west and Racecourse Road to the south.

Bellville South Zoneย which is the Bellville Area. It is bounded by Hoffman and Uranium Street to the north, Peter Barlow Drive to the east, Modderdam Road to the west and Robert Sobukwe Road to the south.

Please keep only up to 10 litres of water for essential usage if required however, residents living in the affected areas are urged not to stockpile large volumes of municipal water. This is because if there are any significant service interruptions, they are not expected to be in effect for long periods. Please also keep taps closed to prevent water damage in the event of a disruption and water being restored after a disruption.At all times careful consideration will be given to ensure minimal disruption to the water supply in the affected areas.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused. However, these are part of our efforts to keep Day Zero away.
