GP/OKCID security report – January 2019

January has seen the rhythm of the city return to normal. The sunny weather helps and even gives motivation to see through a long day’s work for a weekend on the beach.

Don’t let the pleasantries of summer distract you from maintaining your safety. The most reported incident in the past month was motor vehicle break-ins, there were 7 reported. There were also 4 instances of robbery.

We want to encourage residents to be even more cautious of where your vehicle is parked, as well as to be more aware of not leaving items visible on the seats.

Make sure to be aware of your surroundings and check the doors and alarms systems before leaving the house.

A simple double check could save your possessions.
