December tends to leave us with more month at the end of our money, but thanks to the wide array of happy hour specials around the Green Point area, there’s no need to find yourself cooped up at home for the next few months. We’ve compiled a list of some of the best happy hour specials in the area where you can unwind with your coworkers after a long day or reconnect with friends during the week.
Despite Green Point being a safe suburb, and our constant efforts to keep it this way, please make sure you’re aware of your surroundings, don’t carry valuables in full visibility, and don’t leave anything on your seat or cubby hole in your vehicle (go so far as to leave your cubby hole open to show that there’s nothing inside). BELUGA
Known for their great sushi and dim sum, Beluga also has some of the best daily drink specials in town. Join them on Mondays for their ‘2 for 1’ special on all alcoholic drinks, or on Tuesday for their ‘2 for 1’ Tequila special (which applies to all seven of their tequila brands). Wednesday sees their ‘2 for 1’ whiskey special (their whiskey menu has thirteen categories!), and on Thursdays, they have a ‘2 for 1’ special on cocktail jugs and a 1.5L pitcher of draught beer for R110. Finally, on Friday they offer a ‘2 for 1’ special on Boschendal bubbly. All specials run from 4pm to 7pm.
