Dubbed as one of eight start-ups to look out for in 2019, Aerobotics, lovingly known as βthe defenders of the tree cropβ, has set up their South African headquarters at 16 Napier Street in De Waterkant, Green Point.
Using sophisticated drone technology to help farmers protect their crop throughout the season, Aerobotics is able analyse individual trees and detect the onset of early pest disease. Through analysis of the data, their Agronomy Data Analysts are able to advise farmers about potential crop problems and how to fix them.
With offices in 14 countries around the world, we thrilled that the young, up and coming start-up has selected Green Point as their home base.
Marc Truss, our GPCID chief executive, commented: βAttracting businesses of this calibre endorses the safe, clean, attractive and accessible business and residential environment being created and nurtured by the GPCID. We are delighted to welcome our newest neighbours and look forward to seeing the business grow from strength to strength.β
